Dubai’s landmarks are lighting up red all this week – Here’s why!

Key buildings and signature architectures all flaming red marking the celebration of UAE-China week
If you would have driven by the Dubai Frame last night, you wouldn’t have missed out on the brilliant red hue on this iconic structure. The amazing red lit the sky up last night than the traditional yellow glow that it generally has.
This is a cue to mark the historic arrival of the Chinese President to the UAE and the celebrations of the UAE-China Week. The celebrations are underway till July 24. And that also includes, in what is regarded as one of the largest state visits that UAE has ever hosted like never before, the visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping.
The colour red is to symbolize the Chinese flag and also to show the sincere friendship between the two nations.
And the Abu Dhabi Frame isn’t the only landmark that is expected to be lit up in the brilliant red hue. The world’s tallest building – Burj Khalifa, is also lit up in the same magnificent hue. Onlookers in Downtown Dubai, early Tuesday Morning were all treated to a sneak peak of the Burj Khalifa and the intricate LED lighting system.
Adnoc Headquarters and Hudayriat Bridge including many other iconic landmarks are also said to follow suit as well.
