Held in a different city every year, the annual SportAccord Convention is a unique opportunity for key decision-makers from sport and industry to meet, network, and strategically shape global, regional and national agendas.
An exclusive 6-day event, the Convention is host to annual general meetings of governing bodies, and once again, will welcome a delegation from the International Olympic Committee.
With plans well underway for the next SportAccord Convention and registration due to open at the end of June, Managing Director, Mr Nis Hatt commented:
“We are delighted the Dubai Sports Council has become a Gold Partner for the SportAccord Convention. This level of support demonstrates its commitment to the world of sport. Dubai provides significant opportunities for everyone involved in the business of sport or looking to host sports events, and the SportAccord Convention provides the right platform to help make this happen.” Mr Hatt went on to say, “With a limited number of partnerships available this year, I would encourage organisations to begin discussions early.”
The Convention comprises a 3-day exhibition represented by more than 25 industry sectors, sport organisations, government offices, cities, event services, media, and many more. As part of the Official Schedule, the Convention also hosts a plenary conference, City Forum, LawAccord and MediaAccord, as well as a Social and Cultural Programme and Sports Demo Zone.
