Dubai Creek
The Dubai Creek is one of the most popular and essential water bodies in UAE. The Creek cuts right through the city, with Deira and Bur Dubai on either bank in the heart of Dubai. Through the 20th century, the city has developed around the Creek, and it serves as a vital part of the city to this day.
There are four bridges and one tunnel that link the two sides of the city: Al Maktoum Bridge, Al Garhoud Bridge, Floating Bridge, Business Bay Crossing and Al Shindagha Tunnel. Some of Dubai’s most remarkable developments can be found along the Creek, including Dubai Creek & Golf Yacht Club, Creek Park, Deira Twin Towers, National Bank, Chamber of Commerce and more.
