Dubai Breaks 15 Guinness Records in 30 Days

- Guinness World Records has revealed that Dubai residents and government departments broke 15 world records during the 30-day Dubai Fitness Challenge
- The records broken in Dubai include sorting out coloured balls, pulling the world’s heaviest aircraft, largest wheelchair race and most jumping-jacks in 30 seconds
- Dubai Police alone broke three records, the most incredible one being 56 officers of Dubai Police succeeded in pulling an Emirates Airlines A380 aircraft for 100 metres
- The most number of records were broken at the Guinness World Records Live! Events, which took place at two consecutive events during the fitness challenge
- The Guinness World Records is an annual publication that details the records and achievements of people, as well as other beings and natural occurrences on Earth
- Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum launched the Dubai Fitness Challenge on 2nd October, 2017 to motivate Dubai residents to stay active and fit
- Dubai Police is the main regulatory authority in the emirate, with a force of 15000 officers, functioning for over 60 years in Dubai
- The Dubai Fitness Challenge had the objective of getting Dubai residents to commit to 30 minutes of physical activity for 30 days
