DHA Provides Financial Aid to Settle Medical Bills

- If you are unable to pay your medical bills in Dubai because of a personal financial crisis, the Dubai Health Authority has put in place a special service to bail you out
- Under the Musaada programme, patients need to file an application with the DHA, explaining their case and seek help, which the authority will choose to clear or not
- The service is available at the DHA head office and the community services offices in DHA hospitals, between 07:30 AM and 02:20 PM on weekdays
- DHA will respond to the applicant within three working days, and decide to give them full coverage, half coverage or reject their application

- A valid passport copy with a valid UAE residence visa and a copy of the Emirates ID are required to complete any government procedure/application in UAE
- Financial aid is given to Dubai residents only if they can prove insolvency
