Continuing the successful series of month-long residency programs, Abu Dhabi ART HUB shines a spotlight on the country of Colombia where a group of five artists will be featured.

Colombia Art Month has been made possible by the full support of Institución Universitaria Bellas Artesy Ciencias de Bolívar, a university from Colombia that supports artistic events internationally. This month’s guest artists programme also enjoys the dedicated support of the Embassy of Colombia to the UAE.

The Colombia Art Month Opening exhibition will take place on November 26th,  7pm at Abu Dhabi Art Hub and will run until December 25.

This exhibition celebrates the broadened horizon of artists from Colombia. The Artist Residency Program in Art Hub provided artists with the opportunity to obtain the space to create, experiment, and exchange ideas. With a focus on studio-based practice, the residency is a chance to develop a new body of work while exposing a new culture and experience during their stay in the UAE. The aim of the residency is to shed more light on the exceptionally vibrant contemporary art scene in Colombia.

The esteemed group of artists are: Emir de Avila, Laura Mastrascusa, Andres Felipe Perez, Sofia Ruiz, and Sandra De La Cruz.
