Clean Up UAE has Hundreds Out to Help in RAK
Two tonnes of waste were collected by hundreds of volunteers for the 14th Clean Up UAE by the Emirates Environmental Group.
The 600 volunteers picked up rubbish with biodegradable bags and re-usable cotton gloves for the task in Al Jazeera Al Hamra.
“Looking after our environment is essential to preserve it for the future generation. We have seen dedicated participation from organisations, governments, students, families and individuals every year and are glad to get such a great response.
