Burj Khalifa’s New Year 2020 fireworks to begin before midnight
Fireworks to ring in New Year 2020 at Dubai’s Burj Khalifa will begin at 11.57 pm and should last for five minutes. This was revealed at a press conference organised by the Dubai Police and the Roads and Transport Authority on Sunday.
Also, a section of Dubai’s Sheikh Zayed Road will be closed starting 11.45 pm, it was announced.
A force of more than 3,000 officials and organisers will be pressed into action to ensure smooth traffic as well as fireworks in Downtown Dubai, which last year saw 1.6 million visitors.
