Dear Abudhabi2,
In my view the above survey is too far from reality….more assessment should have been done.
I would suggest list of the employers who are participated in survey would have been published and it would been delighted much.
Thanks,
Dear Arun,
Thanks for your comments. We respect your concern. We got the average salary information from various trusted sources through our correspondence. It is not just you but some of our readers mentioned that the information shared is much different from what they see in reality. But, we also observed it is only less than 3% of the total readers who mentioned it.
But we did our homework sincerely. Based on the data we have, we learnt there are 5x times difference in salary for the same role and industry in some sector like Information Technology and that is making the average salary much higher or much lower than what the 1x or 5x category of people are earning.
At AbuDhabi2.com, our primary aim is to provide usable information to our audience. So we are working on a project to conduct a Transparent Salary Survey which will have much accurate industry sector, company size and other details to provide very useful salary benchmark and we decided to fully open the results to our readers. We will personally invite you to participate in the survey when it is available by early next month and encourage you to spread the word to involve your friends to participate and make it success and useful to all our fellow residents.
Thank you for writing. We appreciate your interaction.

I’m a worker in government/defense – can confirm the #’s are accurate for that sector.
Thank you Anon
This survey are very far from reality specially from health care, I work in the Goverment sector for the past 9 years as a nurse and my salary is not this much as you mentioned in the above survey. Where did you get this data.
Hi,
As we stated in our previous comment post, the data presented here are average out of the minimum and maximum salary range in the industry. Also, as we mentioned we are building a Survey System to capture more detailed information and open it to all our readers. You may expect the Survey by early next month. We’ll send you a personal invitation to participate.
Thanks for sharing your views.
Thanks

Dear Sir,
Arun is right . I’m working as a Pharmacist in Dubai I’m getting less than 8091 which you told in graph?? Boss many of my friends are working under this Slab of 8091… It’s totally fake if you want to know exact salaries than go door to door especially Life n Aster pharmacies n mostly individual pharmacies in Dubai are giving less than 8000. Regarding Abu Dhabi it’s almost true. Waiting for your reply
Dear Muhammad,
As we mentioned earlier, we have taken the industry average. The industry average for “Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology” has wide spectrum of sub categories including Pharmacist as one of them. So we can understand your concern. Our team is working on a new survey system which will help provide our readers more detailed report to benchmark and understand the market trends.
Thanks for your views.

For food …hospitality why dont you check out fast food retails….its way too far beyond that salary range. Fast food retails are so many across uae
These figures even averaged doesn’t depicts the true market payouts. Where does a driver get 6K plus? all know the pay slab is between 1500 to 4000. Rare cases may be above.I think average done is based on the rare cases. 🙂
Hi Yasir,
The 6k+ is average out of Courier / Delivery / Transport / Drivers categories. You may be correct, not all drivers are provided 6k+. I would even agree not majority of them as well. But there are industry sectors where skilled drivers are paid high packages. We could clearly understand that the information would be more useful if we do much detailed survey. Our team is already working on it. We’ll send you a personal invitation to participate when it is ready by early next month.
Thanks for sharing your views.
that survey is far away from reality why don’t you try to ask at least 2 persons employed from each sector mentioned above?
Our team is preparing for a detailed survey direct from people. We will send you a personal invitation to participate when it become available early next month.
Thanks for sharing your opinion.
