We have a retail network of 31 branches and two overseas branch in Dubai and Abu-Dhabi, UAE. The full-service branch in Dubai and Abu-Dhabi has been servicing both Kuwaiti and UAE-based clients, clearly demonstrating our commitment to the commercial business between Kuwaiti and Gulf-based Arab producers and exporters.

In May 2015, ABK signed an agreement to purchase 98.5% stake in Piraeus Bank in Egypt. The deal was closed in November 2015 and ABK will be rebranding 39 branches to ABK Egypt post name change approval from regulatory authorities.

ABK has also made key strategic alliances with world-class financial partners. Co-branding with Emirates Airline on ABK credit cards has ensured they have become a popular method of payment, allowing cardholders to earn and redeem Skywards Miles.

In the corporate market, ABK provides loans, letters of credits and guarantees, and payment services, with particular emphasis on financing construction, real estate and trade.

Our Treasury and Investments Division provides a broad range of foreign exchange and interest rate services and advice for the Kuwait, Gulf and international market.

ABK also offers top-performing mutual funds to its clients. The Al Ahli Kuwaiti Fund and the Gulf Fund have continuously provided excellent returns by investing in Kuwait and GCC equity markets.

Competitively, with our ATM Modernization and the introduction of internet banking facilities, Call Centre and SMS Banking on an integrated, flexible, cross-platform IT infrastructure, we have made clear our intention to stand out amongst the banks in the Middle East, and our continuous pursuit of providing superior customer care.
