ADNOC waives Dh10 fee for attendants to fill your tank

Adnoc on Thursday announced that the Dh10 fee motorists had to pay to attendants if they filled fuel in their car will no longer be applicable from Sunday, November 3, Arabic daily Emarat Al Youm reported.
Adnoc had last year implemented this service, according to which motorists had to pay an extra Dh10 if a pump attendant filled fuel in their car. Those who chose to fill fuel themselves did not have to pay this Dh10 charge.
ADNOC SELF SERVICE
Adnoc petrol stations introduced their premium service in June last year.
Motorists pay Dh10 to have an attendant pump their petrol for them, as well as wash their windscreen and check tyre pressures.
The elderly and people with special needs are exempt from the charge and Adnoc previously said attendants are sensitive to others who may not be able to leave their car – people who are injured, for example, maybe exempt from the Dh10 fee.
Self-service stations were introduced to allow motorists to pump their own petrol without paying a service charge.
