ADNOC Announces August Prices for LPG Cylinders
- ADNOC Distribution announced the new retail price of unsubsidised LPG cylinders for August 2017 on 10th August
- As per the announcement made on the 10th of every month, the new retail prices are AED 52 per 25lb and AED 104 per 50lb cylinder
- For holders of Rahal e-Gas cards,ADNOC Distribution offers LPG cylinders at subsidised prices of AED 20 for 25lb and AED 30 for 50lb
- ADNOC Distribution will make LPG cylinders available across Abu Dhabi and the Northern Emirates
- Founded in 1971, the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) is the state-owned oil company of UAE, with an approximate annual revenue USD 60 billion
- A Rahal e-Gas card allows people to use the card as a payment option to buy LPG gas cylinders in Abu Dhabi and the Northern Emirates at subsidised rates
- People without a Rahal e-Gas card will be able to buy LPG cylinders by paying cash or with bank cards at non-subsidised rates
- There are 13 LPG cylinder distribution companies in Abu Dhabi city, 16 in Al Ain, and 7 in the Western Region
- LPG cylinder prices have dropped in the second half of 2017 as compared to the first half, when the prices had increased to AED 58 per 25lb and AED 116 per 50lb cylinder
