Abu Dhabi’s Al Wahda Mall Evacuated as Fire Breaks Out
Abu Dhabi’s largest shopping mall was shut temporarily after a fire erupted at a clothes store inside the mall.
Workers and shoppers were evacuated from Al Wahda Mall on Thursday following a restaurant fire.
The fire broke out at Beirut restaurant in the mall food court at 12.45pm, an assistant manager said. Civil Defence decided to evacuate the mall because of the smoke, he said.
The mall was reopened at 3.30pm, with only the affected restaurant cordoned off as authorities investigate the cause of the blaze. Details
