Abu Dhabi Police relaunch its social media platforms

The Abu Dhabi police has relaunched its social media platforms with a new design.
The upgrade included the Abu Dhabi police Facebook page, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube under the new account of ADPoliceHQ.
The change also has included the Abu Dhabi police‘s Snapchat account ADPolice_HQ.
The step aims to boost the communication with the public so they can get updated with Abu Dhabi police’s news, initiatives, activities, and awareness messages as quickly as possible.
The nation’s leadership has appreciated the role being played by Abu Dhabi Police in maintaining peace and security in the emirate that has been an integral part of its economic successes and achievements .
The new social media sites carried messages from the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nayhan, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and Shaikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council.
“The police has always fulfilled their tasks professionally. We are all aware of the great role they perform in the light of the major and rapid development of the country”, as quoted by Shaikh Khalifa.
In his message, Mohammed bin Zayed, said: “We are highly confident in the abilities of our security and police services to maintain national and community security. Our police and security forces consist of qualified and highly trained officers who spare no efforts to perform their duties to establishing national security and stability.”
“Our support and care have provided the police and security forces with all the required sophisticated capabilities that placed them among the top global modern police forces,” said Lt. General Shaikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
Major General Mohamad Khalfan Al Rumeithi, Commander in Chief of Abu Dhabi Police, said that the Abu Dhabi Police have been constantly striving to keep up with the latest developments in the social networking sites in order to beef up the communication with the public so as to attain the utmost levels of response in communication.
