Abu Dhabi municipality gives food baskets to Mussaffah families
Abu Dhabi City Municipality has started to implement the Meer Ramadani project to support needy families in Mussaffah and nearby areas.
The municipality visited families at homes and delivered food baskets to them, working with the Emirates Red Crescent and Waseet Al Emarat Catering Services.
More than 240 food baskets have been delivered to more than 100 families living on the outskirts of the city, the municipality said on Monday.
The food baskets included commodities such as oil, tea, sugar, flour, milk, rice, oats and dates, as well as other items such as condiments, chicken, oats and salt.
