A Celebration of 900 Books – Education Event in Abu Dhabi
In celebration of the UAE’s Year of Reading and marking the ninth anniversary of the Kalima Project for translation, Kalima has organised a cultural event entitled ‘A Celebration of 900 Books’ under a theme inspired by a quote from renowned Arab poet al-Mutanabbi, ‘A Book is Man’s Best Companion’.
The event will feature an exhibition of books translated from 14 languages and an 80% discount on the sale of all Kalima’s publications. In addition, a host of cultural activities and seminars as well as a special programme for children will be on offer for all visitors.
