7 of 10 World’s Tallest Hotels are in Dubai

- Out of the top 10 hotels, Dubai is home to 7 tallest hotel structures in the world
- JW Marriott Marquis today lost its crown of the world’s tallest hotel to its new neighbour – Gevora Hotel, which is now open in Dubai
- Developed by Al Attar Properties, Gevora Hotel 11th tallest tower in the Middle East and 35th in the world
- The hotel houses 528 rooms including 232 deluxe rooms, 265 one-bedroom apartments, and 31 two-bedroom apartments
- Dubai is home to the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, which pierces the city skyline at 828 metres (half a mile) high
- The Gevora Hotel will boast four restaurants, an open-air swimming pool, a luxury spa, health club and jacuzzi
- The JW Marriott Marquis, which opened in 2013, boasts nine restaurants, five bars, two ballrooms, as well as a spa and health club
- Its predicted that hotels located near Sheikh Zayed Road and Dubai International Financial Centre will command USD 212 average daily rates in the first quarter of 2018
- Dubai aims to attract 20 million visitors annually by 2020 when it hosts the global trade fair Expo 2020
