175 Newborn Animals Welcomed at Dubai Safari

- Dubai Safari has welcomed 175 newborn animals since its soft opening in December last year
- The new arrivals – representing 30 species – include 3 African white lions, a vervet monkey, 22 blackbuck antelopes, three Arabian wolves, and two Nile crocodiles, among others
- With a keen eye on education and conservation, the animals were carefully selected from reputable breeding programmes to help Dubai Safari become a leader in conservation
- With the addition of the 175 newborns, the Dubai Safari family growing in terms of both the number and diversity of the species
- Spread over 119 hectares, Dubai Safari is one of Dubai’s premier eco-friendly projects to be a landmark entertainment destination in Dubai
- Dubai Safari Park will provide a safe and healthy environment for 2500 animals representing more than 250 species native to the Middle East, Asia and Africa
- The first phase of the AED 1 billion Dubai Safari project in Al Warqa’a 5 includes Asian, African and Arabian villages and an open Safari Village that offers guided safari drives
- White lions from South Africa, orange & white Siberian tigers, giraffes, hippos, peacocks, ostriches, antelopes, crocodiles and hyenas are some of the highlights of Dubai Safari
- Located on Al Awir Road on the outskirts of Dubai, Dubai Safari attracted 14000 visitors in the first two days of its soft opening in December 2017
