- Iftar is the time of the day when Muslims break their fast, which is at around 07:00 PM in UAE
- Dubai’s RTA has been distributing 4000 free Iftar meals at bus stops and metro stations in the city during Ramadan 2017
- Another entity providing Iftar meals in UAE includes Sharjah Airport, which has been distributing thousands of Iftar meals to passengers every day throughout the month
