Adeeb Al Balushi aged 13 is the world’s smartest teen in world for 2018
A smart teen is defined as one who is “not only theoretically intelligent, but they’ve applied their smarts in myriad practical, helpful, amazing ways… They are problem solvers.” according to US National Association for College Admission Counselling (NACAC)
Adeeb Al Balushi is also the smartest youngest person in the world
50 of the smartest teens were announced by the NACAC
The smartest teens selected from the 50 lot included teens that were homeschooled, public schooled, and private schooled.
At the tender age of six, Adeeb Al Balushi created a device that enabled his polio-ridden father to go swimming in spite of his prosthetic leg
He created a small robot that assisted his mother in household chores
The young inventor went on to invest 5 more inventions with the help of the government’s supervision and funding
Al Balushi is a member of the Arab Robotics Association and has more than 60 certificates of achievements to his name
