Jewellery has considerable socio- economic significance in UAE society.

Gard al hel: A kind of bracelet made in gold or silver and may be used by married women or grown up girls for the wrist.

Al Khanasir: Rings worn around the little finger

Al Shawahid:Ring worn on index finger

Al Khalkhal: Gold or silver  bracelet worn above the ankle

Al Fatakh: Ring worn on big toe on either or both feet.
