- Sheikh Zayed was renowned for his dedication to the UAE and its people, promoting the values of tolerance, co-existence, and equality
- Plans to erect a memorial in honour of Sheikh Zayed in the capital city were confirmed by the Ministry of Presidential Affairs in September 2017
