Petrol prices set to increase in September

Petrol prices in the UAE are about to rise marginally in September, as per an announcement by the UAE Fuel Price Committee.

Emirates National Oil Company on Wednesday published a tweet to confirm that fuel prices inclusive of VAT for the month.

The per-litre prices are AED2.59 for Super 98, up from AED2.57 in August, and AED2.48 for Special 95, up from AED2.46 in August.

The price of diesel in September has been set at AED2.64, a marginal rise from AED2.63 in August.

International crude oil prices have risen this year, and the UAE increased fuel prices in May and June before reducing them in July before they were increased again at the start of this month.
