The programme focuses mainly on: promoting expert theories on children’s development, especially emotional and social growth; strengthening positive parent-child relationship; and teaching parents how to raise children and build a strong balanced family.
In addition, the Parental Relationship programme tackles several issues, most importantly: how to build positive parental relationships; reinforcing the parents’ relationship with children through positive communication; children’s social, educational, and psychological needs and how to deal with them; and reinforcing good behaviours and changing unwanted behaviours in children.
