- In a bid to meet public expectation, the Ministry of Infrastructure Development has carried out 107 maintenance and development projects this year
- The development works are meant to improve the performance of schools, as well as federal and local buildings across the country
- 25% of these projects were in Fujairah 24% in Sharjah, 16% in Ras Al Khaimah, 13 % in Ajman, while the remaining projects were in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Umm Al Quwain
- Major projects covered include schools, health care centres, vet and agricultural centres, dams, hospitals, and courts across UAE
- The Ministry of Infrastructure Development in UAE handles all infrastructure and development projects in the country
- UAE is made up seven emirates – Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah
- Between 2017 and 2020 alone, at least four mega developments that are currently under construction in the UAE are scheduled for completion
- In April 2017, the Ministry implemented three big projects in Sharjah – the headquarters of the special security forces, a Ministry of Interior building, and Khorfakkan Court Building
- All of the mega upcoming projects in UAE have one goal in common: to cash in on the spending power of UAE residents and visitors
