It is widely known that FC Barcelona has been negotiating a transfer with PSG and Brazilian superstar, Neymar Jr, for weeks, and while Neymar Jnr has publicly voiced his desire to join the Catalan club, the difference over the financial aspect of the transfer seems to have stalled the deal in recent days.
However, with the recent news of the high-profile footballer purchasing a super-luxury property in Limassol, the coastline city of Cyprus, it appears that the deal is firmly back on the table. Pini Zahavi, Neymar’s Israeli agent, was recently spotted in Limassol, negotiating a multimillion-euro deal for a luxury property at ‘The Icon’, one of Limassol’s residential super-luxury skyscraper which is currently under construction.
Last week, Neymar Jr failed to show up at PSG training, causing the club’s fury, while his father and manager said that Neymar Jr is set to attend training in mid-July upon his return from Brazil.
Mr Misirlis, from developer Imperio, could not be reached for comment about the purchase.
