- In a bid to beat the scorching Dubai weather, walkers are hitting the shopping malls to meet their Dubai Fitness Challenge goals
- Combining brisk walking at a speed of 6 km/hour, with short bursts of circuit workouts, mall walking, is an excellent way to burn calories and socialise with like-minded people
- Personal trainer David Craig leads a group of mall walkers every Sunday morning at the Mall of the Emirates (MoE), and also organises biking and pilates activities
- The exercises start at the Ski Dubai foyer and Craig takes his students on a few loops around the mall and stops occasionally for circuits like squats, lunges, etc.
- Mall of the Emirates is one of the largest shopping malls in Dubai, located at Interchange 4 on Sheikh Zayed Road
- The Dubai Fitness Challenge was launched by Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum on 2nd October, 2017
- The Dubai Fitness Challenge has the objective of committing to 30 minutes of physical activity for 30 days
- The Dubai Fitness Challenge started on 20th October and will go on until 18th November, 2017
