As Motorsport.com reported at the Mexican Grand Prix, Lowdon and team principal John Booth have both decided to step down from the team they set up amid disagreements with its new owners about long-term plans.
Although he had previously declined to comment on the situation, Lowdon confirmed in Brazil on Friday that he was leaving after the season finale.
