The facade of the iconic tower in Abu Dhabi was lit up in Indian tricolour and portraits of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on the day when PM Narendra Modi was sworn in for a second term on May 30. While the beautiful visual of Sheikh Mohd Bin Zayed’s handshake with Narenra Modi and the Abu Dhabi flag on the Adnoc Group tower is going viral as ‘Modi 2.0’, Indians in the emirate looked up with pride as what it seems deepening of strong bilateral ties. Perhaps, UAE wishes India more development and prosperity

UAE’s ADNOC

ADNOC top priority after PM Modi wins 2nd term

ADNOC is the only foreign oil and gas company, to invest in India’s strategic petroleum reserves programme. The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company or ADNOC is the state-owned oil company of the UAE. It is also a stakeholder in one of India’s largest refinery and petrochemical complexes, which will be constructed at Ratnagiri in Maharashtra. So  while PM Modi starts his fresh five-year term in office, India’s energy security will become a top priority for the UAE.
