Hyperloop Plans Between Abu Dhabi and Al Ain Will be Set After Ramadan 2017

- Hyperloop Transportation Technologies will propose the plans for an Abu Dhabi-Al Ain Hyperloop link to Abu Dhabi authorities after Ramadan 2017
- The new Hyperloop plans between Abu Dhabi and Al Ain will detail matters like routes, financials and environmental factors
- The Hyperloop project proposes to cover the distance of 145 kilometres between Al Ain and Abu Dhabi within 13 minutes, to be completed within three years from the time of approval
- The Hyperloop capsules will have a capacity of 28 passengers, and will travel at a speed of 1200 kmph using magnetic propulsion and solar energy

- Hyperloop Transportation Technologies (HTT) is an American research company started in 2013, focusing on creating a means of transport to make the Hyperloop vision a reality
- HTT is in talks with India to implement the Hyperloop project in the country, the most likely route being from Pune to Mumbai in the state of Maharashtra
- Another Hyperloop route in UAE is in the pipeline, between Dubai and Abu Dhabi, proposed by HTT’s competitor Hyperloop One
