- RTA’s Public Transport Agency is set to launch two new bus routes (Routes 102, 106) on 1st November, 2017
- The step would boost the happiness of visitors of the Global Village in Dubai, and at the same time cope with the growing demand for this service
- The 2 routes are Route 102 from Rashidiya Metro Station and Route 106 from Mall of the Emirates Station heading to the Global Village
- To improve the route’s service around the Global Village, RTA has also re-operated Route 103 and Route 104
- The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is the regulatory authority for all matters regarding transport and road safety in the emirate of Dubai
- Global Village, Dubai, is claimed to be the world’s largest tourism, leisure, shopping and entertainment project
- Global Village is located on Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Road (E 311), at Exit 37, Dubailand, Dubai
- Every year, Global Village has over 5 million visitors over an area of 17,200,000 sq ft (1,600,000 m2)
- Global Village will welcome its 22nd season from 1st November, 2017, and go on till 7th April, 2018
