Free Wifi and Movies on Dubai-Ajman Buses
- The Ajman Transport Corporation upgraded its fleet and started offering free WiFi aboard seven new buses between Dubai and Ajman
- The new buses have been fitted with screens for commuters to watch movies, enjoy music and even browse the Internet for free while on the road
- The trip from Ajman to Dubai costs AED 15, while the return travel is AED 12
- The buses leave the main transport terminal in Al Musalla in Ajman, and take passengers to the Al Rashidiya Metro station in Dubai
- The Ajman Public Transport Corporation (APTC) currently operates 60 buses
- Each bus of APTC, costing AED 3.5 million, has a capacity of 50 passengers
- Frequency of Dubai-Ajman buses is every 30 minutes
- Over 1.3 million passengers used public transport during the first half of 2017
- There is a 22% rise in public transport commuters in Ajman in 2017 as compared to 2016
