- The 45-minute grace period is only in parking areas surrounding mosques and does not apply anywhere else
- Inspectors will not be on watch for 45 minutes after Azhan, but they will charge anyone who exceeds the period
- Muslims go to the mosque to pray five times a day, each of which is announced by the Azhan, the call to prayer at mosques
- Ramadan is a very important period for Muslims, who observe fasting for a month, and focus on the Five Pillars of Islam
- The timings to pay for parking in Zones A, B, C, D and G in Dubai during Ramadan 2017 will be between 08:00 AM and 05:00 PM, and from 07:00 PM to 12:00 AM on all days except Friday
- The general parking fees for non-commercial areas in Dubai is AED 2 for an hour, AED 5 for two hours, AED 8 for three hours and AED 11 for four hours
- Parking in Dubai can be paid for by a number of options – cash at a parking metre, by texting the area code to the RTA parking number, through the smart mobile app and buying a parking ticket using a Nol card
