Etisalat Fully Functional Again After Minor Glitch

A slowdown in mobile and internet services in some parts of Dubai and Sharjah was experienced for a couple of hours on Friday, 27th January 2017, due to what Etisalat called technical glitch in their network.

“Earlier today (Friday) there was a slowdown in the network which affected certain areas,” according to a statement from Etisalat.

“This has been completely restored in record time and all services are back to normal,” Etisalat added.

Some residents had taken to social media to call the attention of Etisalat. One Twitter user (@mehboobaslam786) said:?”@etisalat, still the network is not coming only my phones signal coming those are also weak and elife still not working. Another Twitter handle (@mehboobaslam) posted: @ etisalat what happened? no signal, come on!”

Some Etisalat users also used the KT Facebook page to narrate the problem. Kazim Hassan said: “Problem was not only with mobile (service) but also with card charging machines.”
