- A total number of 497 people from different walks of life came together to break the world record of the maximum number of people doing jump squats simultaneously
- The new record was created at the Festival Bay area of the Dubai Festival City on Friday, 17th November, over the closing weekend of the Dubai Fitness Challenge
- Participants were given certificates, T-shirts bearing the Guinness world record logo as well as AED 50 gift vouchers
- The closing weekend carnival of DFC hosted the new Guinness Record, a dragon boat race, and rounded off the entire event with a water & light show as well as fireworks

- The Dubai Fitness Challenge started on 20th October and will end on 18th November, 2017
- The DFC closing weekend will have high-octane group workouts, Zumba fusion classes, freestyle football, ballet, yoga, functional training sessions and more, on 18th November
