- The new look was launched by Dubai Police commander-in-chief Maj Gen Abdullah Al Marri at the force’s general headquarters
- The refreshed logo is green, with cleaner lines and a smoother look than the previous logo, featuring a boat on calm waters, surrounded by branches on either side
- The Dubai Police logo rebranding is defined by three principles: security, communication and innovation
- Dubai Police is the main regulatory authority in the emirate, with a force of 15000 officers, functioning for over 60 years in Dubai
- The previous logo of the Dubai Police was red, with the ocean under the boat in wavy lines rather than straight lines
- Dubai Police unveiled a robo cop, an auto police patrol, and a Hoversurf hoverike as new technological advancements of the force, during GITEX 2017
- In July 2017, the Abu Dhabi Police revealed a new identity and a change in their logo, vehicles and police uniform, which came in line with the 60th anniversary
- Dubai Police’s ambition is to have 25% of the force consist of robotic officers by 2030, as well as to operate a “smart” police station that “won’t require human employees”
