- Dubai Police personnel have broken the Guinness World Record by pulling an A380 Emirates aircraft for 100 metres as part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge
- 56 officers pulled the 302.68-tonne aircraft to break the former record of 218.56 tonnes
- Dubai Police accepted the challenge by Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum to sign up for the 30X30 Dubai Fitness Challenge
- The officers were supported by the Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police and the President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and CEO & Chairman of the Emirates Group
- Dubai Police is the main regulatory authority in the emirate, with a force of 15000 officers, functioning for over 60 years in Dubai
- Emirates Airlines is the largest carrier in UAE, owned by the Government of Dubai’s Investment Corporation of Dubai
- The Dubai Fitness Challenge was launched by Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum on 2nd October, 2017
- The Dubai Fitness Challenge has the objective of getting Dubai residents to commit to 30 minutes of physical activity for 30 days
- The previous world record for heaviest aircraft pulled was for a Boeing 747 aircraft pulled by 100 people at Hong Kong International Airport in 2011
