As part of the 37th UAE Plantation Week celebrations, the Dubai Municipality will open Al Warqa 3 Park. The Plantation Week this year is organised from 12th to 16th March under the slogan ‘Let’s plant a greener Emirate together’, with the participation of all municipalities in the country.
The Dubai Municipality’s activities of the week will start from today with a variety of programmes and activities. During the week, four other parks will be opened in the emirate. These are the Nad Al Sheba 2 Park, Al Khawaneej Pond Park, Al Mizhar 2 Park, and Hatta Valley Park.
In Abu Dhabi, the municipality will organise events at the Mohammed bin Zayed City on Monday to mark the week. During the opening ceremony, a palm tree will be sown, keeping with the annual tradition of marking the occasion.
