Dubai Metro Partial Closure Over Weekends

  1. Dubai metro Red Line will be partially closed during weekends for 10 weeks for work related to the Route 2020 project
  2. Dubai metro red line will be closed on every Friday and Saturday from 28th July to 14th October, 2017, between the Jumeirah Lakes Towers station and Ibn Battuta station
  3. During the time that the metro is closed, a free shuttle service will operate between JLT station and Ibn Battuta station to take metro commuters to the respective station
  4. Trains will switch rail tracks and return at JLT and Ibn Battuta metro stations after the automatic operation system is upgraded
