Dubai Frame and Dubai Safari to be Completed by November 2017
- Dubai Frame and Dubai Safari will be both ready by end of November, a top Dubai Municipality official said
- The public will be able to access Dubai Frame in the next couple of months to experience a 360-degree view of Dubai
- Marwan Al Mohammed, Director of General Projects Department at Dubai Municipality, confirmed that Dubai Frame is 95% complete
- Dubai Safari’s soft launch will be in November for operations and testing, but the official opening is yet to be confirmed
- The Dubai Frame, a 150-metres high and 93-metres wide structure, is an AED 160 million project conceived and titled by Fernando Donis to promote Dubai tourism
- Dubai Frame stands tall in Zabeel park with views of Emirates Towers and Burj Khalifa on one side, and Deira, Umm Harare and Karama from the other
- The design of Dubai Frame was selected as the winner of the 2009 ThyssenKrupp Elevator International Award from 926 proposals
- Spread over 119 hectares, Dubai Safari is expected to house over 3,000 animals of different species
- Located at Al Warqa-5, the AED 1 billion Dubai Safari project will have 80 hectares for villages of different regions of the world, and 35 hectares for the Open Safari village
