- The third and largest edition yet of Dubai Design Week starts today (13th November) and will go on till 18th November 2017
- As part of DDW, there will more than 200 events all across Dubai, with 15 installations in Dubai Design District (D3) alone
- DDW will showcase the Global Graduate show, which will have projects by students of over 90 universities from 40 countries
- There will also be the Abwab exhibition, which will host 45 designs from 15 countries within the Middle East North Africa, South Asia (MENASA) region
- The Dubai Design Week is an annual diverse 6-day programme of exhibitions, installations, talks, educational workshops and more, to help people understand about design
- The Dubai Design Week 2017 is being handled by William Knight, the Head of Design of Art Dubai
- The centerpiece of Dubai Design Week is the Downtown Design, which is in strategic partnership with the Dubai Design District and the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority
- Abwab means ‘doors’ in Arabic, which the exhibition aims to be, as a glimpse into art and design from other countries around the region and the world
