A garage worker was fined Dh40,000 for wrecking a car during a test drive in Fujairah.
The car owner had brought the relatively new vehicle in for some technical repairs, as per an Al Bayan report.
After fixing the car, the Asian worker decided to take it out for a quick spin to see if the issues were resolved.
During the drive, the car suffered from a technical malfunction, causing the worker to lose control of the steering wheel and crash the car.
