Abu Dhabi residents celebrate a frenzy food fiesta

Residents from the Capital joined together on Friday during the opening ceremony of the Venetian Village Festival and enjoyed gourmet food samples provided by the esteemed restaurants’ pop-up stalls, alongside a vast array of entertainment suitable for all ages.
The festival, which was hosted by Liborio Stellino, Ambassador of Italy to the UAE, and Hareb Al Muhairy, Board Member of Abu Dhabi National Hotels, proved to be a hit amongst visitors.
The Festival brought together the excitement of street food celebrations and gourmet tasters with the frenzy of a village fiesta, where fun activities are combined to entertain adults and children alike.
Shaikh Saif Bin Mohammed Bin Butti Hamed Al Hamed, Chairman of the Board of Abu Dhabi National Hotels (ADNH), said: “The Venetian Village Festival has formally introduced the development to the Abu Dhabi community. We see the Venetian Village as a flagship project of ADNH, a pioneering initiative for creating additional attractions in the fast developing destination of Abu Dhabi.”
“Venetian Village is a fantastic dining and entertainment destination in the capital that will play a role in supporting the Emirate achieve its goals outlined in the 2030 Vision,” he noted.
Venetian Village provides Abu Dhabi residents and visitors culinary options from internationally acclaimed gourmet concept restaurants. In addition, the Venetian Village also allows generous space for family or corporate entertainment in the picturesque setting on the shores of Khor Al Maqtaa, while being harmoniously integrated in the architectural landscape of The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal that nestles it.
